[On the Road] - Why You Should Attend Le Congres de l'assurance et de l'investissement in 2018

Dylan 2.pngOver the years I have travelled the country and been fortunate enough to partake in some exciting industry events. Le Congres de l’assurance et de l’investissement is a great example of a convention that brings people together to discuss timely industry topics. Organizers describe the purpose of the day as inviting of all sectors of the life and health insurance industry to an event that drives development in the industry - based on the dialogue and information sharing of which I was able to partake, I would say they “Nailed It!”  (as the saying goes).

The Right People

Informative & Relevant Sessions

The day is made of panels and speakers, each session with educational credits for licensed attendees.   The best part of the sessions, is they aim to answer the hot topics of the day.  The agenda is based on the questions on people’s minds, future direction of the industry, challenges the industry faces and in no way does the event shy away from asking the tough questions.  The panels are made up of industry leaders and provide great depth and knowledge.

Forward Thinking & Future Oriented

The key to any great conference in what you take with you when you leave – and this time I don’t mean the candy, gifts and photos, but the learnings and the new relationships.  Le Congres presents a great opportunity for synergy, as everyone there comes knowing that other key figures are present, that industry change is addressed there and you may be coming to work together, to innovate or just to find out how others in the industry are looking to lead the way.

This is one event, where you always have follow up meetings, learn what is on the horizon and can see how much has changed in a year.
