Kelsi is the VP of Product Management of APEXA, and is responsible for leading the internal team to implement APEXA’s product roadmap with a focus on creating solutions to the problems faced by our advisors.
Shree is the VP, IT & Operations for APEXA, and is responsible for ensuring that APEXA is operating smoothly and meets business needs. As the system is deployed to additional partners, she will also be responsible for system enhancements.
Shree has 15 years of industry experience, which have bolstered her expertise in business analysis, project management and system testing. Prior to APEXA, Shree has been a Senior Business Analyst at both The Insurance Institute and Brookfield Lepage Johnson Controls.
Shree believes that there’s nothing that can’t be solved if you are patient and willing to continuously gather knowledge.
Shree holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Western Ontario and a System Programming and Analysis Certificate from Seneca College. Additionally, she is CBAP certified from the International Institute of Business Analysis.
In her spare time, she actively practices yoga and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Bonnie is a Business Analyst for APEXA, and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support APEXA’s clients. Bonnie’s experience in software implementation and support spans over 10 years, where she has developed her expertise around business analysis and intelligence, software documentation and process improvement.
Prior to APEXA, Bonnie held a wide range of work experiences, which include consulting and data conversion. Through these range of experiences, Bonnie has fueled her passion of consistent and continuous learning and is a firm believer of taking accountability in everything that you do.
Bonnie holds a Marketing diploma from Seneca College and a SQL Server Certification.
In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys walking, biking and rollerblading through the variety of neighbourhoods in Toronto. She is also guilty of being a Netflix enthusiast.
Chantel is a Senior Business Analyst for APEXA, and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support APEXA’s clients. Chantel’s seven years of experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry has helped her develop her expertise in finance, treasury and ERP system implementations and solutions.
Prior to APEXA, she worked in the Integrated Financial Solution group at Manulife, where she collaborated within a small team to manage the financial reporting and cash operations infrastructure for the company.
Chantel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Carleton University and is currently working towards her CBAP designation. Chantel graduated from Carleton University with a BA in Psychology and is currently working towards achieving a CBAP designation. She has seven years of experience working as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry with a primary focus on Finance, Treasury and ERP system implementations and solutions.
In her free time, she enjoys travelling, playing with her dog and spending time with friends.
As Sales & Account Executive, Sorabh is responsible for developing strategic future partners for APEXA’s long-term growth and nurturing existing relationships amongst industry leaders. Sorabh’s experience spans over 8 years, where he has developed his expertise around account management, relationship development, and business development.
Prior to APEXA, Sorabh has been an Account Executive at both Benecaid and Desjardins Financial Security.
Sorabh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from McMaster University.
In his spare time, Sorabh plays all kinds of competitive sports, likes to travel and spending time with family.
As the Sales & Account Executive for Quebec & Eastern Canada, Line is responsible for developing strategic future partners for APEXA’s long-term growth and nurturing existing relationships amongst industry leaders in Quebec and Eastern Canada.
Line has over 17 years of experience in the financial services and in the insurance industries, B2B business development, sales, marketing, project management, and operations. She also spent 4 years in Shanghai working in strategic business development for several Canadian and Chinese companies.
Line holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
In her spare time, Line enjoys jazz music travelling, skiing, and cooking.
As Director, Training, Barb is responsible for developing and executing the APEXA training strategy, enabling our clients to become APEXperts and receive maximum value out of the system. Barb brings to the APEXA team over 20 years Insurance Industry experience plus expertise in Learning Design, Project Management, and Change Management.
Barb also comes with over 15 years Learning and Development experience in a managerial role at Ivari (formerly Transamerica Life Canada). Before Ivari, Barb was the Director, Training at Insight Decision Solutions, an insurance data warehousing company.
Barb holds a Certificate in Adult Education from Brock University.
In her spare time Barb enjoys a variety of activities from reading, to traveling, to simply enjoying delicious food and wine.
Mariah is the Sales and Communications Specialist at APEXA. In her role, Mariah is responsible for developing insightful content, including blog posts, videos, and articles to help grow the APEXA brand and increase awareness of industry-related topics.
Prior to joining the APEXA team, Mariah held a similar role at Kingsdale Advisors, a prominent financial services firm. Before Kingsdale she held the position of Associate Producer at the CBC News Network, working on the popular business show, The Lang and O’Leary Exchange.
Mariah holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Concordia University and speaks French fluently.
In her spare time, Mariah likes to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and often heads up to Algonquin Park where she enjoys hiking, canoeing, and kayaking. Mariah loves to travel, and her favourite destination is Paris.
As Bilingual Client Implementation Lead, Rania is responsible for managing the project plan for implementing the APEXA system and the onboarding of new clients.
Rania brings ten years project management experience to the APEXA team, with expertise in Client Relationship Development and Change Management. Rania has held prior positions as Account Manager at AIL and Project Manager at IBM.
Rania graduated from Cairo University with a Bachelor of Arts.
Rania enjoys both spending quiet moments reading personal growth and development books, and enjoying the excitement of Latin dancing.
As a Client Implementation Lead, Megan is responsible for creating and executing client project plans by leading clients from project kick-off to implementing the APEXA system.
Megan’s insurance industry experience began with six years at AIG where she held roles as Private Client Group Underwriter and Broker Licensing Specialist. Megan brings with her expertise in licensing compliance, process analysis & improvement, contracting, and underwriting.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political and Gender Studies from Queens University.
In her spare time Megan enjoys physical and cultural activities that include Yoga, cooking, and wine tasting.
