Corporation profiles on APEXA capture all the mandatory information required by your MGA and carrier partners for new contracting and ongoing monitoring. This includes items such as a breakdown of company ownership, your Articles of Incorporation or Certification of Incorporation, provincial licenses issued to your corporation and maybe even a separate corporate E&O certificate.
When you setup or make updates to a corporate profile on APEXA, our Document Validation Team works behind the scenes to review the information in each section of the profile, to ensure you have met the business rules set out by our partners and regulators.
- The name of the corporate documents uploaded must be an exact match to the corporate profile name.
- If you attach a Certificate of Amendment or Certificate of Change of Name, be sure to include the original Certificate or Articles of Incorporation so the Document Validation Team can cross-reference.
- Confirm that the corporate document(s) being attach include the stamp/signature of the governing agency.
- Double-check that the documents you upload are the correct file. We find that occasionally users will accidentally grab the wrong attachment when uploading. Unfortunately, if the document doesn’t match the profile (e.g., internal corporate documents or Notice of Articles in BC was attached) we may need to reject the item.
