Recently I have been asked to speak on a variety of topics – being a Canadian Start-Up, Women’s Running, cold water exposure, and my experiences.

All these topics, similar to providing financial advice, boil down to helping people. Essential to effectively helping others is understanding their needs, motivations, and maybe why you’re the one they chose.  Where it gets tricky is people do not always recognize what they need or why they sought you out.  If someone has chosen you, the good news is at least they found you!

Embrace the value of human connection and solidify these relationships through clear communication and authenticity. Give people the opportunity to find what they need, be relatable, be trustworthy and make it easy for them to understand your value.
